I had the privilege of attending and photographing Pet Rescue by Judy’s Dash for Dogs 5k and Reunion. When I started my morning at 7a it was cold and rainy at Fort Mellon Park, but that didn’t stop over 300 runners from participating in the 5k. Later in the morning around 100 people participated in the 1 mile fun run with their dogs. Unfortunately, the weather was not very cooperative until later in the day. The reunion was off to a slow start, due to the weather, but by the afternoon many former adopters where at the park along with their dogs.
All in all, the event was a huge success and we are looking forward to another Dash for Dogs event in 2012.
