Like to paw-tee? Join us on Friday, June 21 as we vow to: “Work like a dog by day and party like a pup at night!” National Dog Party Day™ will be unleashed in these four cities in 2013: Austin, Dewey Beach, DE, Orlando and San Diego. Attend this ultimate, once-a-year ‘date night’ with your dog!

At each party site, we will sneak in good doggy manners in a fun setting, bolster the friendship bond between people and their dogs, and benefit a hard-working pet charity in the community. Attendees will enjoy serenading their dogs during K9 Karaoke, wiggle through agility tunnels with their dogs in the Four Legged Life’s Tunnel of Love game and much more!

Bridal boutique Something Blue went out of business and donated the unsold wedding dresses to Pet Rescue by Judy.  The event will feature wedding vendors, entertainment and a silent auction of 21 donated dresses.   The cost is $5 per person, though there is no entry fee for those planning to bid on a dress.

The dresses will be displayed during a runway show where models will be accompanied by dogs from the rescue’s shelter. Proceeds from the sales will go toward medical needs of that specific dog and towards a building a new shelter.  Two buildings were donated to Pet Rescue by Judy for a new shelter and low cost spay / neuter clinic, but they need $250,000 in renovations.  Money from this event will go towards the renovations fund.
