[portfolio_slideshow]I had the pleasure of attending the Doglando Foundations Indian Dinner fundraiser on Sunday, 09/24. I’ve had Indian food in several restaurants, but have only had authentic, homemade Indian food a few times.  Teena Patel, owner of University of Doglando (UofD), came up with the concept of an Indian dinner fundraiser after many of her University of Doglando clients requested it.  Patel’s parents and in-laws turned the grooming room at UofD into a full fledged kitchen for the day and cooked for 65 people.  The food was wonderful!

There was also a silent auction, raffle and tile painting.

All of these funds will be used to renovate a shed on the UofD property to create a birthing center for a pregnant dog, as well as a senior retreat for older, abandoned dogs.

The Doglando Foundation Inc. is a non-profit 501(c3) educational organization that promotes responsible canine ownership within our community by creating programs that will improve the welfare and well-being of dogs.
